My passenger and rear windows won't go down at all in my 2022 CX-9. Driver's side works perfectly. Has anyone run into this issue before? If the active driving display does not operate, switch the ignition off and then restart the engine. If the active driving display does not operate even with the engine restarted, have the vehicle inspected at an expert repairer (we recommend an Authorised Mazda Repairer). #1 · Sep 26, 2021 I have been searching around on this forum this evening to see if anyone else experienced this problem. The center display infotainment system, I think Mazda calls it "Mazda Connect", is not working at all. No radio, no Apple Car Play, no vehicle status, no clock, no vehicle settingsnothing. It may be the CX- 5, CX-8, CX-9, or Mazda 2 screen that has turned black suddenly. Fix the Mazda black screen by either updating the Mazda software, making a professional Mazda repairer work on the screen, resetting the screen, or contacting Mazda to get your issue completely resolved. Disconnect the two cables. Let sit for 5-10 minutes. I started the car without the screen for good measure. Turn off the car. Plug the screen back in and start the car up and see if the screen turns on. If yes, snap the bezel back into place and screw bolts back in. If not, reinstall anyway and you'll have to go to the dealer. Switch the ignition off and close all of the doors and the liftgate. Open the driver's door. Within 30 seconds of opening the driver's door, press and hold the LOCK button on the key for 5 seconds or longer. The beep sound activates at the currently set volume. For anyone that is out of warranty or not lucky enough to get assistance from Mazda or the dealership, I would suggest replacing the screen yourself. Try to locate a used screen from eBay, LKQ, or another online source and you'll save a ton of money over new. ZHcve2.
